Westminster Advocacy Service for Senior Residents provides trained volunteer advocates to enable all older people in Westminster to express choices about matters affecting their everyday lives and so achieve a better quality of life.
The Dementia Advocacy Development Project provides a range of services to practitioners, managers and commissioners to improve and develop dementia advocacy services.
Ceartas (Pronounced Kier-tis) is a Gaelic word for equity, fairness, and right. This is what we wish to achieve and promote as we support and represent individuals in East Dunbartonshire.
The Advocacy Project provides independent advocacy for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues. This service is provided in the East End of Glasgow, Rutherglen/Cambuslang, and, for people with mental health issues, across South Lanarkshire. In addition, the Project operates a Glasgow city-wide advocacy service for people aged 65 and over. Advocacy is also available to patients with a physical disability within the Southern General Hospital.

The Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers.
The HDA is a UK registered charity which supports people affected by Huntington's disease (HD).
Carers look after family, partners or friends in need of help because they are ill, frail or have a disability. The care they provide is unpaid. Carers UK is the voice of carers and is the only carer-led organisation working for all carers.
Age Concern is the UK's largest organisation working with and for older people.
Dementia.com provides information for caregivers and healthcare professionals. Subscribers can customise the site, receive newsletters and benefit from the Medline mail service, providing access to over 3 million online articles.
Dementia North is the dementia services development centre (DSDC) for the North and Yorkshire region. We work with practitioners and service organisations to promote good practice and service delivery in dementia care.
It is the aim of this web site to provide people with dementia and those who care for them with access to the information they need to understand and cope with dementia. The site also provides an overview of the work of the Kingshill Research Centre.
The Dementia Services Development Centre, at the University of Stirling, exists to extend and improve services for people with dementia and their carers.
